Become a musher at Nanouak:
​
- Take care of the park.
- Take care of the dogs, feed them .......
- Prepare the couplings.
- Drive a sled / ATV or even kart.
- Train the dogs in winter or in the off-season.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT KENNEL LIFE, FOR HAMDLERS OR TRAINING!
To handle them, confirm or not confirm, the time of a winter season.

Compared to winters in France, the conditions are different and quite harsh here in the Arctic, Finnmark Norway.
You need to have a good mind, motivation, willpower, especially if it's your first experience as a handler, or if it's the first time you've come to this part of the Arctic.

​THE KENNEL AND ITS EVERYDAY LIFE! (Handler and training!)
We warm ourselves over a wood fire (which we have to cut a little), we have to fetch water, there is no electricity on site.
Connection to nature guaranteed!
A generator runs from time to time, to charge certain devices.
Light on battery, a 12v neon lamp.

The musher's accommodation in Nanouak is rudimentary.
We stay near the dogs, at the kennel.
An oratory, room that can accommodate 4 people, with a wood stove + another room that serves as a kitchen with a small gas stove. WC at the bottom of the garden, wash a sauna.
Attention at the beginning of the season, I only take one or two handlers for 6 months.!
Lack of light and loneliness can affect your mental resistance a lot!!!
It has happened before that handlers get depressed and break down. Instead of doing a full season, they only stay a few weeks or 1 or 2/3 months.

I accept up to 2 people; 2 friends or 1 couple. Possible to come with your van to fit out.
​
